Together, we will explore 7 embodied recovery practices drawn from the Alexander Technique and modern pain science, with the aim of helping you play with more ease, confidence and freedom.
The 7 "Playing With(out) Pain" Embodied Healing Practices
- Centering – Getting Oriented Towards Safety
- Breathing – The Great Unifier
- Receiving – Saying Yes to What Is
- Choosing – Play, Disobedience & Daring to Be Wrong
- Coordinating – How to Harmonize With Your Body
- Resting – The Art of Just Being
- Shapeshifting – Allowing for Movement
The class format will be a combination group exercises on the 7 practices along with individual work with volunteers while they play or sing.
All registrants will get a downloadable replay and a pdf copy of Peter's 9-part e-course on the 7Â practices.
